Independence and no affiliation
Raisina Wire is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or speaking for the Government of India, the President’s Secretariat, any ministry, the armed forces, any intelligence or security agency, any political party, or any foreign government. “Raisina” refers to Raisina Hill as a place and a common shorthand in Indian public life. The line drawing of Raisina Hill used in our masthead and logo is original architectural artwork; we do not use the State Emblem of India, the national flag in any official form, or any official seal or emblem.
Opinion and analysis
Editions and articles contain analysis and opinion, which are those of their authors on the date of publication and not necessarily the views of Raisina Wire, Calibrex or any other person or organisation. Analysis may involve assessments of uncertain and developing events and may later prove incomplete or wrong. We label analysis and opinion, distinguish them from reported fact where we can, and state uncertainty rather than hide it.
Open-source information
